How to Use:

1. Wet Your Brush: Begin by wetting your makeup brush under running water. Remember to point your brush hair down. Do not allow water to get into the ferrule (silver metal neck) of the brush. Keep the brush angled downwards with the water running down the bristles to avoid damaging the brush handle.

2. Swirl & Lather: Swirl the bristles in the Lux Brush Soap, gently massaging into the scrub pad or your hand to work up a rich lather.

3. Rinse & Repeat: Rinse the brush thoroughly under water. Repeat the process if necessary until the water runs clear.

4. Proper Drying: Reshape the bristles and lay flat to dry.

Wet the brush, swirl it over the solid soap to build a gentle lather, then keep swirling on your palm or a textured mat until the lather runs clean. Rinse the bristles under lukewarm water (avoid getting water up into the ferrule), gently squeeze out excess water, reshape, and lay flat to dry. Our brushes have wooden handles and high-quality synthetic bristles. The synthetic fibers are chosen to feel soft and luxurious while giving smooth, even application, and they are gentle on mature skin. They are cruelty-free.

For daily-use brushes, about once a week works well; lighter use can go every two to four weeks. Face brushes used with liquids or creams benefit from more frequent cleaning than eye brushes.

Wash them gently with Lux Brush Soap using light, circular motions. Do not scrub hard or soak the whole brush, as water in the ferrule can loosen the bristles over time. Rinse thoroughly, reshape while damp, and lay flat to dry. Cleaning them the right way is what keeps the synthetic bristles soft and full.

It depends on how often you use them. For brushes used daily, most people wash them about once a week; lighter or occasional use is fine every two to four weeks. Regular cleaning keeps the bristles soft, hygienic, and performing well, and helps your brushes last for years.

Avoid standing them upright while wet, which can loosen the glue in the ferrule. Full drying can take several hours to a day depending on the brush size and your room’s humidity.
