Starting at the base of the lashes, pull the mascara brush from root to tip. With one application, you will see an instant effect; add additional layers for more of an intense look.

Volume up provides a water resistant formula. For best removal, use an oil-based remover or cleaning balm.

Make sure you place the brush at the root of your lashes and slowly move the brush through to the tips. This will ensure all the "teeth" on the brush coat, even the tiniest lashes.

Two shades: Jet Black and Dark Brown. Jet Black gives bold, classic definition; Dark Brown is a true dark brown (not brown-black) for a softer, more natural look many mature customers prefer. Both can be used on upper and lower lashes.

Because it's long-wearing, remove it gently with an oil-based cleanser, a cleansing balm, micellar water, or a dedicated eye-makeup remover. Hold the remover against your lashes for a few seconds to dissolve the mascara, then gently wipe away without rubbing or pulling on the lashes.

It's water-resistant and transfer-resistant, but not fully waterproof. It holds up well to everyday moisture, light humidity, and normal wear, but we don't recommend it for swimming in a pool or ocean, since prolonged water exposure can break it down. We don't currently offer a separate waterproof version.

It has a creamy, nourishing formula that's fragrance-free, cruelty-free, and paraben-free, is tested for sensitive skin, and our eye products are ophthalmologist-tested. For specific ingredient concerns, review the full ingredient list on the product page and patch-test first.

Because the formula is water- and transfer-resistant rather than fully waterproof, some smudging can happen, most often from rubbing the eyes, watery eyes, or natural under-eye oils. Make sure lashes are clean and product-free before applying, avoid touching/rubbing the eye area, and lightly setting the under-eye with a translucent powder helps. Yes. It's designed with mature lashes in mind. The tiny-tooth wand grips even very short, fine, or sparse lashes so they're not missed, and the buildable creamy formula adds length and volume without weighing lashes down. It works well even if you have very few lashes or aren't confident applying makeup.

It's formulated to be gentle and is generally suitable for sensitive eyes. It's fragrance-free and our eye products are ophthalmologist-tested. Most customers with sensitivities wear it comfortably, but everyone is different. We recommend patch-testing first, and if you notice redness, watering, or irritation, stop use and contact us so we can help.

It comes down to the look you want. Jet Black is the most dramatic, defined finish. Dark Brown is softer and more natural. It flatters lighter or finer lashes and is often the favorite for a gentler look, especially on mature lashes. Tell us your lash color and the effect you're going for and we'll recommend one.

It's not specifically a curl-setting formula, but many people tell us it helps hold a curl longer than traditional mascaras, especially applied right after curling with a good lash curler.

Drying out is most often caused by air getting into the tube. Avoid pumping the wand in and out (this forces air in), always close the cap tightly right after use, and store it in a cool, dry place.
