Something's Gotta Give + Lace Tops for Summer

As a female entrepreneur, endurance is critical. It’s a grind to keep going, to keep writing, to keep creating, styling and shooting photo shoots. Most essential is to stay resilient when you get stepped on. Some days I sit staring at my computer keys thinking what in the world am I doing? Email after PR email pushing, grinding, and showing up as my best self to the world is not always as easy as one likes to make it look.

Like my husband says, “Some days you are drinking the wine, and other days you are picking the grapes.” so true. A great attitude is what sets you apart from the rest of the world in both life and business.

When I am feeling a little spent from constant work I put on the movie “Something’s Gotta Give” with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson. I have been doing this for years now. Something about this movie gives me all the feels and I know every single word of dialog. I am not sure where my obsession is rooted maybe the location of the movie which is set in a gorgeous beach house in the Hamptons or maybe it’s Diane’s character Erica Berry being a writer? I think it’s a combination of those two things and the causal perfectly styled wardrobe Diane is wearing throughout the entire movie. White turtlenecks anyone?

We all need time to sit back and not care about anything. Play music that makes you feel good, dance like only your dog is watching, have that perfectly chilled glass of Rose or read a book that has you so captivated that you can’t put it down.

I love lace tops in the summertime they ooze soft feminine coolness and carefree vibes. I bought this lace top randomly at an orchid show back in April I loved the bell sleeved design. White on white is another favorite of mine during the hot months from June through September here in South Florida.
