The second you step foot into The Lennox Hotel on South Beach, an intoxicating fragrance of Le Labo Santal greets you. You might remember that I blogged about Le Labo hotel fragrances when I was first introduced to this fantastic concept when I stayed at The Edition hotel flatiron location back in January 2019 for my New York City book tour.
You will see a style with the hotels I like to book they; are all part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. I want a unique charm, impeccable design style, location, and, most importantly, hospitality. The Lennox Hotel on South Beach brought all of those points and more to my experience. Upon my evening arrival at the hotel, Gratis cocktail card with the offer of their signature specialty cocktail called “1900” named after their street address. The “1900” is the perfect drink to set your mood on chill. 1900 cocktail is made up of rich golden berries infused with sake, gin and fresh lime juice, fresh mint garnish, and, of course, a paper straw. My mouth waters just thinking about my first sip.
The hotel offers 119 contemporary rooms, designed by renowned Argentinian Interior Designer Juan Ciavarella. The vibe is a natural element from handcrafted furnishings, green moss covering the outer walls around the pool and terrace to upcycled materials to create a chic and trendy space. I was treated extra special with a beautiful bottle of wine upon my arrival to my room.
Waking up with the gorgeous Florida sun beaming through my windows was heaven. I loved how my Nespresso vice was quickly cared for with a Nespresso machine right in my room. The bed was ultra-comfortable, and I loved the cozy robe for when I came out of my hot shower.
The breakfast menu was delightful, I had the sweet potato pancakes it was a bit of a diversion from my usual Daily Harvest green smoothie, but hey, I was on a little staycation. The pancakes were unique with coconut cream, gooseberry jam, and maple syrup on the side. I didn’t eat the entire pancake, but I easily could have.
When in relax mode, I like to take a step back from the usual grind and sit by the pool, read a good book, or do nothing. The pool was the perfect oasis to forget the outside world and chill.
It is five o’clock somewhere right? I couldn’t stay away from such an elegant bar, located right when you walk into the hotel. It’s beyond beautiful with the green moss, mirrored walls, and gorgeous gray and white marble. If you like people watching, this is the perfect spot to order a drink and stay awhile.
If you are looking to get away for the weekend or the entire month for a little R&R I would highly recommend The Lennox Hotel.
