Bold, Fierce, Unapologetic

Recently, I posted a photo this photo below on Instagram that sparked quite a bit of controversy. As the face of Nikol Beauty, my goal has always been to inspire and advocate for mature women, focusing on mental health, wellness, and aging gracefully. I aim to challenge traditional norms around aging, promoting alternatives to Botox and fillers and emphasizing a holistic lifestyle. This Norma Kamali asymmetrical one-piece reminded me of a photo shoot I did back in the 90's. I wore my Good Vibes lip gloss it's the perfect natural nude color. You can probably guess why I have a lip gloss named Good Vibes in my line. 

The photo in question featured me in a bathing suit, and I was met with criticism for showing too much skin and not adhering to the expectations placed on women of a certain age. Some people felt that I should cover up and hide my body, but that goes against everything I stand for.

I refuse to cover up my gray hair because I embrace the changes that come with aging. I also refuse to cover up my body because it doesn't fit society's standards of youth. The way we perceive ourselves influences how others perceive us. By showing up unapologetically, I aim to empower other women to do the same.

Mature women deserve to be seen and celebrated. My mission is to create incredible Nikol Beauty products tailored to their needs and lifestyles, and I will not be deterred from this purpose. I'm committed to helping women live their best lives and embrace every stage of their journey.

Despite the backlash, I remain steadfast in my dedication to advocating for mature women and providing them with high-quality products. I won't back down from my commitment to empower women to love themselves as they are, inside and out. Let's continue to lift each other up and challenge the status quo together.
